Obituary

Mavryn V. Baisley of Garrison, NY passed away on March 16, 2020 at Hudson Valley Hospital at the young age of 80. She was born on December 27, 1939 to William and Vera Rome in England. She married John Baisley September 10th, 1959 in Peterborough, England. Mavryn was an avid gardener, an active member in the Garden Club, and enjoyed the friendships she created at the Red Hats. Mrs. Baisley had a niche for photography and previously owned her own school picture company. She especially loved using this talent to take pictures of her family.

Mavryn is survived by her son Paul (Christine) Baisley of Mohegan Lake, daughter Tracy (Jarrod) Maddocks of Garrison, her adored grandchildren Justin, Kimberly, Madison, and John and her great grandson A.J.

Mavryn Baisley was predeceased by her husband, Johnny, 2 grandsons, Tyler and Michael, 2 sisters, Valerie and Hillary, a brother Roy, and a brother in law, Terry.

The family will receive friends Thursday, March 19th 4-7 pm at the Curry Giordano Funeral Home, 313 North James St. Peekskill, NY. A service will be held at the burial at 11:00 am at the Hillside Cemetery, Cortlandt Manor, NY.
