Lucille Klein
January 16th, 1947- August 26th, 2020

Lucille Mary Klein passed away on August 26th, 2020 after a twelve-year battle with cancer. Lucille was born January 16th, 1947 in the Bronx to William and Edith Schirizzo. Lucille is survived by her loving husband of 50 years Arnold, two children Jeffrey (Suzette), and Rachel (Joseph), and two grandchildren Kyle, and Isabella.
Lucille grew up in a happy and loving household with her sister Edith, who preceded her in death a year ago. Lucille was a caring wife and mother and dedicated her life to her family, never thinking of herself but always of others.
Lucille loved collecting figurines, pictures, and of course her favorite singer Rod Stewart. Lucille was diligent in calling family and friends, calling on a regular schedule to see what was new (Uncle George could keep track of time by her daily call!). She always looked forward to her annual trips to Lancaster, PA with her friends John & Rosemary and visits to NC to to see Jeff and Suzette.
“Have I told you lately that I love you
Have I told you there is no one else above you
You fill my heart with gladness. Take away all my sadness.
Ease my troubles, that’s what you do.”

In Lieu of flowers please send all donations to the American Cancer Society:

Lucia (as I liked to call her) Klein was a woman to admire. A loving, giving person who was happiest when surrounded by family, doing whatever was needed. When my Aunt Mary suffered a stroke, it was Lucy who visited her daily and washed her laundry. My parents, Leon & Sylvia Myssiorek adored Lucy and welcomed her with open arms into the Zigman family when cousin Arnie married her. It was the BEST thing he ever did! Count my parents in as part of Lucia’s welcoming committee. I am grateful to have known you Lucy. You have enriched so many lives with your goodness and selflessness. “And in my heart you will remain Forever Young”
