Edna M. Stevens
September 5, 1931 – October 10, 2020

Edna M. Stevens (89) a former Peekskill, NY resident for over 50 years, entered eternal peace on Saturday, October 10, 2020. She resided for the last 10 years in Stormville, NY with her daughter Shirley.
Edna was born in Yonkers, NY to Fred and Edna Erling on September 5, 1931. She worked for New York Telephone Co. in Peekskill for 21 years. Edna was an avid reader and loved to garden and bake. She was a talented seamstress and especially enjoyed walking with her beloved dog Velvet . She devoted her life to her 10 children, Kirk (deceased), Diane, Jon (deceased), Michael, Frederick, Blair (deceased), Francis, Deborah, Shirley, and Barbara. Edna is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she cherished.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17 from 12:00pm to 3:00pm at the Curry & Giordano Funeral Home 313 North James Street in Peekskill. A private burial will be held at a later date.
Edna was a faithful donator to many charities but was especially fond of the work of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Donations can be made in her memory using the form below and mailed to:
