Obituary for Charlotte J. Smith (Elston)
Charlotte Smith, age 63, passed away in the early hours of July 29, after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
Charlotte was a long time resident of Peekskill. She grew up with her parents, her two sisters and three brothers.
She is survived by husband Gordon J. Smith Sr, her mother Irene Marie Knapp-Elston and her children Letitia, Gordon, and Masi Smith; Sarah Lee Brown and Terah Lee Davis as well as her long time special friend Josephine Mancuso.
She is pre-deceased by her father, Harold Raymond Elston, daughter April Puetz and brother Harold Elston Jr.
To honor her memory, the family is holding a celebration of her life on Friday, August 5, 2022 from 11:00AM to 1:00PM at Curry & Giordano Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at 1:30PM at HIllside Cemetery, Cortlandt Manor.
"Goodbye to Mom. We know that we can't have you any longer, but we are all happy knowing the angels have finally got you back."- Tisha, Gordon, Masi, Mehki, and all her loving grandchildren.
